It is a stroke of luck that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) had his main character Sherlock Holmes fall to his death at the Reichenbach Falls! The fascination with the English master detective remains as strong as ever and people still follow in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes here today!
Sherlock Holmes Museum
The authentic and world’s only reproduction of the parlour of the house at Baker Street 221b can be found in the centre of Meiringen in the English Church. The exhibition gets under your skin with new surprises from May 2019!
Conan Doyle Place
A life-size bronze statue of him stands here in his memory! There are 60 mystery clues on it, all of which come from a Sherlock Holmes novel! The solution is close at hand - right in the Sherlock Holmes Museum! You can also learn more about the novel "The Final Problem" at "Conan Doyle Square".
Reichenbach Funicular
